Welcome to JO7DNC's Web Site. I live in Sendai city which is about 300km north
of Tokyo since Apr.2000. Sendai is one of the biggest cities in Japan,
and  in and around my city the beauty of the scenery is too beautiful for words.
Besides, a friendly atmosphere pervades my city.

You know, Japan is divided into 10 areas on Amateur Radio. For instance,
the 1 area represents the Kanto district composed of  Tokyo and its around
prefectures.Sendai city is included in the 7 area, so in my call sign,
the figure 7 of the middle means a Ham Radio station in Tohoku district.

By the way, most people's hobbies usually have nothing to do with their occupations.
That is why on Sundays a lawyer becomes an amateur carpenter, and a doctor goes
fishing, a scientist is engaged in painting.
Now I am a Ph.D candidate, so I also enjoy an amateur radio communication
on my holidays for one of my recreation.

When spring comes, the snow on the mountains begin to thaw, I usually take a trip
in Tohoku area just for a change of pace with my Rigs. When you hear my call sign
on 21 or 28MHz, please call me frankly !
